2019: What a year we’ve had!

As 2019 is about to wrap up, it’s time to reflect of the past 12 months. Safe to say this year has been a pretty special one at Systemagic HQ.

Twenty years ago the Systemagic story began at a small office in Bath. Two decades later, we’ve grown in more ways than one. With 16 members of staff (and more on the way!), over 350 clients and beautiful 4100 sq ft offices, and this year has shown no sign of slowing down.

New Faces

2019 saw us welcome 3 new faces to the team. Hayley Dixon joined us as our Business Administrator while Emily Rigg took on the role of IT Technician.  We also introduced a brand-new role as Fiona Major has taken on the position of Customer Experience Manager. Each role was developed specifically to ensure we maintain existing high standards as we continue to grow our client-base. We couldn’t be happier to have them on board.

New Projects

We weren’t short of exciting projects this year. A particular favourite was working with Relais & Châteaux hotel Whatley Manor. We modernised their entire infrastructure and were able to deliver them with a system that provided an annual reduction of 11,895 KG of Carbon Dioxide and will also save them thousands of pounds on electricity!

We’ve enjoyed helping numerous clients bid farewell to their servers by using Azure and Microsoft 365 – there’s certainly no sign of slowing down when it comes to businesses opting to move to cloud based services instead of investing in internal systems and equipment! We’ve also been kept busy helping clients to replace or upgrade their Windows 7 computers ready for January when it reaches End of Life.

New Milestones!

Back in June we celebrated 20 years of business! Managing Director James Eades said: “The team have worked so hard over the past 12 months to help us deliver another year of impressive growth. Coupled with consistently great customer satisfaction feedback and 99.9 per cent client retention, I couldn’t be prouder of them!” We’re extremely proud to still be supporting businesses who signed up to our services back in 1999 and to celebrate two decades of Doing IT Differently we had an away weekend at Center Parcs! As demand for our services continues to grow in 2020, we’re already hugely excited to see what next year has in store for us! We’re excited to take part in some fantastic projects and we have demos and seminars in the pipeline to help our clients too!
