Adam Beer

IT Technician

With a history of delivering excellent customer service, Adam joined our Helpdesk team at the start of 2017.  He has an eye for detail and ensures our customer’s systems are running efficiently, responding to any errors and performing essential maintenance to keep our clients’ networks running smoothly. Adam won the Shining Star Award for IT from Yeovil College for his exceptional performance during his apprenticeship, so he adds to our roster of award-winning ex-apprentices.

What do you do when you’re not in the office?

I enjoy spending time going for long walks around Bradford and seeing how quickly I can go 3 or 4 miles, always great to get up and about after a long day at my desk! Visiting the gym once a week to try and keep fit, some people think I’m crazy going between 12am – 4am! Lastly, tinkering with all sorts of tech at home.

What is your favourite piece of tech?

That’s tough, I’ve got a few. My main one has to be my iPhone. It’s great that I can receive my emails, and keep in contact with people over group chat while I’m out and about. It’s also connected to my server at home so I can stream all of my movies and TV shows wherever I go. It can also accept phone calls

If you could move your desk anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If you were to ask me that for my previous job, I would have said closer to home. Now, however, Systemagic is just down the road from me! So I’m not really sure where I would want my desk.

What would your superpower be?

I’m constantly feeling like I just don’t have enough time in the day, so the power to control time would be fantastic! So if anything is going to take a little while to do I can freeze time and save an hour or so!
