Our 2023 Recycling Stats

We’re proud to share that we recycled over 377 devices in 2023, weighing a total of 1,572kg.

As a result, this prevented over 24.5 tonnes of CO2 from being released into the atmosphere – the equivalent of driving 62,898 miles in an average petrol car – the same as driving from Land’s End to John ‘O Groats 37 times!

Of the 377 devices we recycled, there were:

• 140 hard drives
• 67 laptops
• 58 desktops
• 34 network devices
• 17 tablets
• 6 printers
• And many more.

Although most of our devices were recycled, some were refurbished and donated to local schools and charities, helping those most vulnerable to digital exclusion.

We’re extremely pleased with the positive environmental and social impact this scheme has had on the local area and look to increase the number of devices recycled throughout 2024.
