How to Switch Back to Classic Outlook For Windows

Like Marmite, some users love the new Outlook for Windows, while others loathe it.

If you’ve recently switched to the new Outlook but want to return to the classic version, you may struggle to find the switch toggle.

For some users, the toggle (located in the top right-hand corner of Outlook) has disappeared, making it difficult to revert to the previous version.

But don’t fret, there is another way to return to the classic version of Outlook.

If you head to the ‘Help’ tab along the top menu bar of Outlook, there will be an option to ‘Go to classic Outlook’ right at the end.

Clicking this option should prompt Outlook to reboot and reopen in the classic version.

Additionally, if you encounter any issues with this method, please reach out to Systemagic’s helpdesk for further assistance. Our friendly technicians can provide guidance on how to navigate the settings and ensure you can switch back to the version you prefer.

It’s always helpful to keep your software updated, as updates can sometimes resolve these kinds of issues.

Remember, changes in software can be frustrating, but there are usually solutions available to help you get back to what you’re comfortable with.
