Upcoming Microsoft 365 Price Changes: What You Need to Know

If your business relies on Microsoft 365 to keep things running smoothly, there is an important update on the horizon. Starting July 1, 2026, Microsoft will be implementing a supplier-driven price increase across several of its core licenses.

We know that price adjustments are never the most welcome news, so we want to give you a clear heads-up on what to expect, when it takes effect, and how we can help you manage it.

When will this affect you?

The new pricing won’t hit everyone all at once. The change will take effect at your first renewal date after July 1, 2026, and will be reflected on your July month-end invoice.

Key Pricing Updates (UK)

To help you plan your budget, here is a quick look at the updated pricing for some of the most common packages:

License Type New Monthly Rate New Annual Rate
Microsoft 365 Business Basic £6.48 £64.80
Microsoft 365 Business Standard £12.96 £129.60

Note: Other license types may also see adjustments. If you use a package not listed above, get in touch with us for your specific pricing.

How we can help

Our priority is making sure your business stays efficient without overpaying for tools you don’t use. A price change is actually a great excuse to do a quick “license spring cleaning.”

We are here to help you:

  • Audit your current setup: Are you paying for active licenses assigned to former employees? We can trim the fat.

  • Review your tiers: Are some users on a premium plan when a basic one would do?

  • Explore commitment options: We can look at monthly vs. annual terms to find the most cost-effective balance for your cash flow.

Let’s review your setup: If you want to chat about your options or review your current Microsoft licensing, reach out to our team today. We’re here to make the transition as smooth as possible!
