Time to grow up!

18 years is an important milestone in life, and in the life of a business it’s one rarely seen so I’m extremely proud that we’re celebrating our 18th birthday here at Systemagic this year.  When the business started most companies didn’t have any internet access let alone their own website, and computers still ran Windows NT and suffered from regular Blue Screens of Death- very different from today’s focus on cloud-based services and IT security. However the service our customers need from us remains the same – friendly support for the people at the end of the keyboard and advice on how to best use IT in their business.

It’s a big year for us – we’ve decided to embrace the whole “18 years” thing and use the opportunity to “grow up” – we have big plans to expand our team further by recruiting at least 2 new team members this Spring to join the three that started just after Christmas, and at the same time we’re improving our processes, our service levels and the way we communicate with our clients, focusing on education and information.

I’m hugely proud therefore to have moved the team in to amazing new 4100 sq ft offices in beautiful Bradford on Avon.   The new office environment improves internal communication by allowing the teams to sit together in a modern environment while adding break out space for the guys and gals, rooms for meetings and client seminars (watch this space!) and most importantly plenty of space for us to grow as we continue to improve the business.   While we’ve retained office space in Bath at our previous Waterhouse base to give ourselves and our customers more flexibility, we are a short 10 minute train journey from the centre of Bath and even closer to our Wiltshire, Somerset and more rural clients.
