Microsoft License & Subscription Changes – March 2022

Microsoft have announced changes to their Microsoft 365 subscription licensing, referred to as the New Commerce Experience. These changes take place from the 1st of March 2022 and need you to make a choice for your licensing.

Price increases to 6 license types

Six license types will have a price increase from the first of March this year. These are shown below. If you aren’t sure if you have these license types then your monthly invoices show what licenses you currently subscribe to and you can also give the helpdesk a ring or email in and they’ll be able to let you know. Please note that at this stage increases in GBP aren’t confirmed – we’ve taken US Dollar percentages and assumed the percentages will be the same here in the UK.

Subscription contract term changes

Microsoft have also announced changes to the subscription contract terms for all Microsoft 365 subscriptions. From 1st March 2022 you have a decision to make for your 365 licenses:
