25 Years of Systemagic

We’ve got some exciting news – we’re celebrating 25 years in business!

Systemagic was founded in Bath in 1999. Since then, we have become one of the South West’s most respected IT providers, supporting over 350 SMEs.

Led by Ops Director, Fiona and Managing Director, James (who are both alumni of Business Insider’s prestigious ’42 Under 42′ list) we have experienced strong growth in recent years.

Joining in 2002 as an IT Tech, James worked his way up the business, eventually taking over as Managing Director in 2010.

However, James isn’t our only long-term employee; our Technical Director Chris Sweet joined 20 years ago and was James’ first hire.

We are also proud to have some long-standing customers. Two of which joined us from the beginning – Nicholas Wylde Goldsmiths and MacGregor Smith Architects in Bath.

Since 1999, we have grown to 18 staff members (with 2 more joining in the coming months). In addition, we have also been independently recognised as a ‘Great Place to Work®’’

As we look back at our 25-year history, we reminisce over some of our most notable achievements, including:

• Reaching Microsoft Gold Partner status

• Being featured on the MSP501

• Winning multiple awards for customer service and our apprenticeship scheme

• Reducing our carbon footprint and working towards Net Zero

To celebrate this special occasion, we hosted a buffet for our team, which of course, wouldn’t have been complete without a branded cake and pink and purple candyfloss.

We want to say a huge thank you to our staff, customers and partners for their support over the past 25 years.
